iPhone 3G S – Mini review

After having the original pretty much die on my recently, i have been forced to upgrade early in my contract. So i decided to go for the iPhone 3GS, a black 16gb one to be specific, however – there has been pretty much no where that you can buy a 16gb from a week after launch. I settled for a 32gb for around £100 more.

So was it a worthwhile upgrade? Of course it was, but i have had quite a bit experience with other peoples iPhone 3G’s and i’d say, if you have an iPhone 3G at the moment then don’t go worrying about missing out and rushing out to upgrade, because it isn’t really worth it at the moment, especially at the price they’re currently selling it at here in the UK.

Playstation network – Its biggest flaw

PlayStation Network is a great service, it’s free. It offers outstanding digital content through the PlayStation store, in some places, unparalleled multiplayer gaming and a large 3D online social networking world.

I could go on for quite a while about the great things the PSN offers, but there is one single flaw that lets it down. It isn’t anything that would cost Sony millions to develop and maintain, it is something that could be fixed with some organisation, planning and development standards.

Spread your fucking games out!

I’ve just thought about the game releases coming at the end of this year, and wow, holy shit. Yes, so many brilliant games coming out, i should be happy, and yeah i am, but there is a massive downside to this too.

I thought last year was stupid in how many big, blockbuster games were all coming out within the same two – three months and the game publishers agreed, so guys, why are you still releasing all your fucking games within the same two months of all the other big releases.

Take a look at this list of games i want that are coming out for the rest of this year:

Battlefield 1943 – First impressions

Battlefield 1943, the downloadable battlefield experience is finally here. The last few weeks have been horrible, i’ve been really looking forward to this game and when i start getting hyped for a game i, for some reason loose interest in my current games.

Battlefield 1943 is finally here, been playing that for a while now and love it, well worth the £9.99. The ghostbusters demo is here too, not much else apart from the Motorstorm: pacific rift “Adrenaline” expansion pack and the usual Rock band and Guitar hero stuff.

PSPgo’s 480MHz clock speed – Wrong!

PSPGO

It turns out that FCC document that appeared to show the PSP Go’s processor had been given a speed upgrade was actually about the USB device, not the CPU! Oh well, a bit disappointed, hoped for some great exclusive features to it that taken advantage of that now non existant CPU upgrade.

M.A.G Developer Diary

There has been a few of these developer diaries for M.A.G from Zipper interactive now, but only just decided to make a post about them. The latest one, command and control (the video above) explains how the squads work, explain how the squad leaders can give objectives to the rest of their squad, etc.

Zipper, for me have been the king of squad based gaming, so if anyone can pull this off then it probably would be zipper. The game reminds of an old battlefield games but on a much, much bigger scale and focused more towards the team based, objective gameplay, which is great! I’ve included the other developer diary video’s below.
